Practical Land Services operates Drone Marketplace. Contact us at practical.land.services@gmail.com about privacy, corrections, access or deletion.
Information you provide
- Accounts: email, username, account identifier, verification and sign-in information. Passwords are sent directly to Firebase Authentication for sign-in and are not stored in the Marketplace profile database.
- Profiles: name, service area, business, biography, photo link, equipment, experience, travel radius and optional certificate, training and insurance details.
- Pilot review, when enabled: legal name, phone, certificate number, training date, experience, work/evidence references, exception requests, acknowledgements and owner decisions.
- Jobs and quotes: demo project descriptions, town/state, timing, budgets, quotes and selections remain on your device. When shared jobs are enabled, submitted records are stored online and made available according to the job and quote access controls.
- Support: the email and details you choose to send us. Do not send passwords, identity-document images or card details.
How information is used
To operate accounts, save profiles, recover access, support users and, when activated, handle jobs, quotes and manual pilot review. We do not automatically verify FAA credentials. Owner exceptions do not verify a certificate.
Who receives information
Google Firebase handles authentication and account/profile storage. Hosting and network providers process requests and may keep operational or security logs, including IP address and device/browser information. Your email provider handles support messages. Profile images loaded from an external URL contact that image host, which can receive network/device information; the app requests those images without a referrer.
Private pilot applications and decisions are designed for the applicant and marketplace owner. Shared job details are available to eligible signed-in users according to the enabled workflow. Quotes are restricted to the submitting pilot and job customer; selected-job access is restricted by the application rules. A username can be looked up by verified accounts. These controls do not make information you submit anonymous.
The inspected preview includes no advertising, cross-app tracking or analytics integration. It does not sell personal information through an implemented app feature. Payment code is prepared for testing but live charging and payouts are not enabled; the preview does not ask you to enter card details.
Device storage and permissions
Demo jobs use browser/app storage; drafts can use the current tab's storage or page memory. Firebase sign-in uses session persistence. Signing out clears the app's private views but does not delete your online account. Demo backups are files you choose to export; anyone with a copy may read them. Keep them private and delete copies you no longer need.
The Android source declares Internet permission. This preview does not request device location, camera, microphone or contact access. A town or service area you type is still location information. Native backup pickers only handle files you choose.
Security
We use authenticated access controls and limit private records to the roles described above. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, keep verification messages private and report suspected unauthorized access through the support address.
Retention and deletion
Local demo records stay until cleared, app/site storage is removed, or the app is uninstalled; exported backups must be removed separately. Browser storage failures may prevent a clear operation from persisting, so check the visible confirmation.
For ordinary records associated with a closed account, our selected retention period is 90 days after access closes. Financial records, disputes, legal holds and minimal access-blocking records may require separately explained retention.
We target confirming a verified closure request and closing the requested access within 30 days. Closing access is different from erasing stored records. The ordinary-record retention period starts when access closes.
Automatic scheduled cleanup is not active in the current preview. Until that service is activated and verified, removal is handled administratively; do not assume that a request page, sign-out or uninstall erases online data. Contact practical.land.services@gmail.com for the status of a request and any retention exception that applies. We must confirm account ownership before acting. Request account closure and associated-data deletion.
Your choices
You can edit your saved profile, sign out, clear local demo work and contact us about access, corrections or deletion. Do not put exact property access details or unnecessary personal information into demo jobs. This preview is not directed to children; do not submit children's personal information.
Changes
We will update this notice as features and data practices change. Live payment, messaging, uploads or other new collection requires a fresh notice and store disclosure review before release.
